About Romantic and early modern symphonies
Contains all the symphonies of the following romantic and early modern composers that I could find on Spotify, in chronological order: Beethoven, Schubert, Berlioz, Mendelssohn,
Schumann, Bruckner, Smetana, Brahms, Bizet, Dvorak, Rimsky-Korsakov, Sibelius, Holst, Vaughan-Williams, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Mahler, Debussy and Shostakovich. I am missing some Tchaikovsky, perhaps Wagner’s sole symphony, but this is a good starter for anyone, me thinks.
Wherever possible, I have picked quality conductors such as Harnoncourt.
